MetaLifes - Game Overview and Mechanics

Overview

MetaLifes is an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) game focused on decentralized social interaction and exploration of evolutionary possibilities, leveraged by GPS and AR/VR technology. Players will role-play the characters with the assistance of pets to participate in daily missions, events, PvE and PvP battles. MetaLifes will bring to players a wonderful experience fascinating game modes and various features.

Game modes

MetaLifes is designed to challenge players' individual and teamwork skills with different activities and game modes such as: PvE and PvP.

PvP mode

Players can challenge anyone in the game. The rewards in this mode are the tokens and materials that the loser drops. PvP mode has Slayer Mode feature; with this feature, players will enter the arena and challenge each other, if they are defeated, they will lose the wagering Token fee and the Token reward for the winner. PvP has three modes: 1vs1, 2vs2 & Arena.

PvE mode

Players can play solo or gather in a team to destroy high level monsters and earn rewards. If the character is killed in the game mode, the player will need a certain amount of tokens to respawn and continue fighting.

Tournament 

Tournament feature will be started when PvP mode is launched. In this feature, players can participate in competitions, those at the top of the ranking can receive their own rewards from the tournament organized by MetaLifes.

Highlight Features

Face Scan: Players can scan their own faces to experience the moment when they conquer a new planet in the Metaverse world of MetaLifes.

Couple mode: In this mode with up to 2 players, you can pair with another player to complete tasks together.

Clan/Guild mode: Clan mode has up to 30 players in a team, players can create a guild or join other guilds. In this mode, players can collaborate with many members in the guild to combat with other guilds. In addition, players can participate in Guild events to receive Tokens & Mystery boxes for winning guild missions.

Mission & event mode: Players can complete basic tasks in the game to receive Token and item rewards. Additionally, in event mode, players can turn on GPS mode to hunt pets; this mode supports AR calculation to increase players’ experience.

MetaLifes VR/AR & GPS: These features help players experience a virtual reality life in the world of Metaverse with the support for VR/AR technology and the ability to capture pets on smartphones with unique GPS technology.

Resources and NFT in game

LifeCore

Each land in the game has a spaceship containing a crafting machine called a LifeCore. LifeCore will correspond to 1 character and the owner of LifeCore also owns a character.

LifeCore is also a place to store all gameplay processes including levels, in-game assets, structures. The characters of LifeCore and the characters are expressed through 5 elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth. The characters corresponding to each LifeCore will have different attributes such as equipment, amount of blood which is shown by attack effects and attack resistance.

Players must collect fragments by completing certain missions & events or purchase from the Marketplace to upgrade LifeCore which boosts character's stats.

Pets

Players can participate in daily and weekly pet hunting missions by using the phone's GPS feature. Players can bring up to two pets when leaving their lands to increase their combat ability, power, and experience points.

Mystery Box

Players will randomly receive Mystery Boxes when participating in monster battles, this is a reward for excellent players when completing tasks… When opening the box, players will randomly receive items, materials and fragments.

Items

Each character can be equipped with up to six items including: helmet, armor, pants, gloves, boots & weapons. Each item is classified into three rarity levels: Common, Rare and Epic.

Fragments

Each fragment is a reward from opening a mystery box in the game, fragments are different and can be minted into NFTs for sale in the marketplace. The Fragments are also classified according to the rarity levels Common, Rare and Epic.

Materials 

Materials are the core requirement for assembling in-game buildings, upgrading items, and pets.

Energy

It is the energy generated from LifeCore, the energy used to build buildings as well as move quickly to another land, the farther the land, the more energy it will consume. The higher the LifeCore's level, the faster the energy will recover.

Marketplace

Marketplace makes it possible for players to buy, sell, and exchange NFT items in the game. In addition, MetaLifes provides an in-game shop that allows users to exchange assets more economically and quickly without converting to NFT and put them up for sale on the Marketplace.

Buildings

Buildings play an important role in the game economy. Upgrading buildings requires unlocking LifeCore levels, materials, and fragments. Each building has its own function and will generate passive income in the form of in-game tokens when  joining the game.

Rewards

When completing activities in PvE, PvP or in-game trading, players have a chance to receive $MLG tokens. The amount of $MLG received has been carefully calculated by the founding team to optimize the rewards for players and limit the risk of the game's economy.
In addition, when participating in activities in PvE, players also receive random items such as mystery boxes, fragments, materials, and equipment that allow upgrading of buildings, pets and characters.
